With Netlify’s AI Gateway, you can build custom agents into your applications without opening accounts with LLM providers, managing multiple spend outlets, or messing with environment variables.
In this video, we walk through an example that automatically generates images for blog posts in an Astro site. First, we look at the demo, then dig into the code to see how Netlify platform primitives come together to make this workflow possible.
But wait, there’s more! As cool as this is, it’d be better if we could share a prompt recipe so that anyone could add this to any site. So we put Netlify’s Agent Runners to the test to see if we can one-shot add this feature to two other, completely unrelated projects on both Astro and Next.js.
