Undefeated welterweight prospect Farman Hasanov makes his Octagon debut in his backyard, taking on Eric Nolan at UFC Baku. 

Hasanov (5–0, 0–0 UFC) is coming off a strong run in LFA, capped by a first-round TKO win over Abdurakhmon Fazilov in November. Nolan (8–4, 0–1 UFC) looks to rebound from a disappointing UFC debut last August, when he suffered a second-round submission loss to Baisangur Susurkaev. 

Hasanov enters as a -170 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Nolan is a +142 underdog, with the fight total set at O/U 2.5 rounds.

“The Lion” doesn’t play with his food. Azerbaijani prospect Farman Hasanov heads into his UFC debut with a flawless 5–0 resume — four wins coming by knockout or TKO. 

Hasanov, 30, is a Master of Sport in freestyle wrestling, known for his suffocating grappling and vicious ground-and-pound. Case in point being his first-round mauling of Abdurakhmon Fazilov last November, when he rained down a devastating barrage of slicing elbows en route to a doctor’s stoppage TKO.

Questionable spelling aside, “Nightime” is a nickname that aptly applies to Eric Nolan. The United States Marine Corps veteran carved out a path to the UFC with three-straight stoppage victories on feeder league Cage Fury FC — including his walk-off championship win over Blayne Richards in May 2025.  

Nolan, 28, still has plenty to prove after falling short in his UFC debut against Baisangur Susurkaev last August, during which he was taken down multiple times before succumbing to a rear-naked choke in the second round. Still, he notified fans that he’s always one clean shot away from ending a fight — nearly finishing the job in the first before his opponent got saved by the bell.

Hasanov vs. Nolan Pick, Best Bet

Saturday’s clash between Hasanov and Nolan will seemingly end in one of two ways. Either “The Lion” pummels his prey en route to a commanding TKO victory, or “Nightime” showcases his wrecking-ball power and records another highlight-reel knockout. Either way, it’s looking like someone’s getting their face rearranged in Baku.
