There’s only three games in the WNBA tonight, tipping off at 7:30 PM EST with the Mystics at Sun. The Fire will visit the Sky at the same time, while the Dream will visit the Valkyries at 10 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Citron has become the cleanest scoring option in Washington’s young offense, and this line is still sitting just below her 18.3 PPG average. The Mystics have been more competitive than expected, sitting at .500 after a recent three-game winning streak, and Citron’s ascension is a big reason the offense has stabilized. Connecticut’s season has gone the other way at 3-15, and the Sun are allowing 88.3 PPG, giving Washington a friendlier scoring setup than the records alone might suggest. We’re banking on Citron’s shot volume and efficiency carrying over against a defense that has spent most of the season struggling to get stops.

Diggins is averaging 4.7 APG, so this is not a blind average play, but the matchup is too enticing. Portland allows 22.4 APG, second-most in the WNBA, and Chicago just put up 101 points with seven players in double figures in this exact matchup. The Sky have been shaky overall at 5-12, but their win over the Fire was one of their best offensive performances of the season, built on paint touches and a balanced scoring effort. Diggins finished that game with six assists, and the same kind of interior pressure should keep passing lanes open again. If Chicago’s offense looks anything like it did Wednesday, we’re banking on Diggins clearing this through due to her role on this team as well as this assist-friendly matchup.

Howard’s season-long profile is dangerous, but this matchup should give her fits. She is averaging 18.7 PPG, but Golden State has been the toughest scoring environment in the league, allowing a WNBA-low 78.6 PPG while playing at the slowest possession pace. The Valkyries are also 11-7 and just held Atlanta, one of the league’s stronger teams at 12-5, to its lowest-scoring game of the season in a 77-66 win. Howard finished with 12 points in that game, and Golden State’s half-court pace limits the easy volume she usually needs to stack threes and free throws. Allisha Gray’s availability will have some impact on this pick, but Golden State is a tough defense..

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
