The New York Knicks have won their first NBA championship since 1973, defeating the San Antonio Spurs, 94–90, in Saturday night’s Game 5 at Frost Bank Center. 

Jalen Brunson put on the cape, erupting for 45 points to spark a double-digit comeback and put New York back on top of the basketball world for the first time in 53 years.
