Jessica Shepard 6+ Assists (+193): The Wings are coming off an offensive explosion in their season opener, defeating the Indiana Fever 107–104. Not only did the team shoot 59% from the field, but five players scored in double figures, including Jessica Shepard. The 29-year-old nearly recorded a triple-double, posting 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists to lead the team in both of the latter categories. After just one game, Dallas has to be ecstatic about its offseason pickup, signing Shepard following her five-year stint in Minnesota. In 40 games with the Lynx in 2025, she averaged 8.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting a WNBA-best 63.8% from the field. While the assist numbers don’t immediately jump off the page, the Wings led the league in assists last season (26.0 APG). With the addition of bucket-getter Arike Ogunbowale and, of course, Paige Bueckers, I see a path for Shepard to emerge as a key facilitator against the Dream tonight.
Olivia Miles 6+ Rebounds (+158): Olivia. Miles. The No. 2 overall pick out of TCU put on a show in her debut with the Minnesota Lynx, posting 21 points, three rebounds, and eight assists in a one-point loss to the Dream. With no Napheesa Collier on the floor, Miles immediately stepped into a larger role, operating as the primary facilitator while looking completely comfortable. Now, this prop is interesting right off the bat. Miles is a 5’10” guard who grabbed just three boards in her first game. However, the Dream were one of the best rebounding teams in the league last season and added Angel Reese, which showed as Atlanta out-rebounded Minnesota 46–25. If we look back at her last year at TCU, Miles averaged 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game while leading the NCAA in triple-doubles. The ability to crash the glass is there, but 6+ feels slightly high for a rookie guard in just her second game. But… at +163, the value is definitely intriguing.
Paige Bueckers Under 20.5 Points (-120): I really don’t enjoy taking the under on any Paige props, but the reality is the Wings have more offensive weapons this season. Meaning, Bueckers doesn’t have to carry the entire load. Against the Fever, three players scored 20+ points — Arike Ogunbowale, Odyssey Sims, and Bueckers — while the team collectively shot a ridiculous 52% from beyond the arc. It’s a small sample size (just one game), but the Wings looked like a completely revamped offense, a major step up from last year’s unit, which posted its worst offensive rating (103.3) since 2019. Paige can obviously go off on any given night, but under 20.5 feels like a strong angle to back, especially with the expectation that Azzi Fudd will start to get more involved.
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a Same Game Parlay Extra and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together… feel free to tag along!
