Best anytime goal scorer props for Monday 5/11/26

Brock Faber anytime goal scorer (+550)

Wild defenseman Brock Faber nearly made history this season for his team. He scored 15 goals in the regular season, which may not sound like much but came up just two goals shy of matching the franchise’s single-season record for a blueliner (which was set by current Avalanche skater Brent Burns). Still, second place ain’t half bad and Faber continues to produce in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He’s up to four goals during this postseason run, tied for second most on the team with Kirill Kaprizov and Quinn Hughes. The more interesting numbers are as follows. Faber has 28 shots on goal, the third most of any Minnesota skater this postseason. Additionally, he comes in with +550 odds of an anytime goal tonight against Colorado. Wowzers! At this kind of value, he makes for an extremely compelling pick. Whether he rains slap shots on Mackenzie Blackwood or gets up in front of the net, Faber is a great selection as a long shot.

Martin Necas anytime goal scorer (+170)

I wrote up Martin Necas on Saturday as an anytime pick and it did not cash, but I’m unashamed to both admit that and go back to the well tonight. Why’s that? Well, the guy is one heck of a hockey player. He scored 38 goals in the regular season and finished at an 18.4% clip, and playing alongside Nathan MacKinnon will open things up on the ice for just about anybody. Here’s the thing. Necas has just one goal this postseason on 21 shots, good for a shooting percentage of only 4.8%. That efficiency is far below his season-long mark, and even if you consider the aforementioned 18.4% a statistical outlier, he still has a career average of 13.1%. As long as he keeps the volume coming, Necas’ numbers should stabilize with another goal soon. He’s very talented and sees plenty of TOI, so one goal in seven games feels more like a blip than a sign that he’s not a postseason performer.
