There will be three Game 6 games on the slate tonight, with the Knicks visiting the Hawks at 7 PM, the Celtics visiting the 76ers at 8 PM, and the Nuggets visiting the Timberwolves at 9:30 PM.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Across five games thus far in this series, Tatum has scored more than 25.5 just once in Game 4, where he went off for 30 points and 11 assists in a ferocious 128-96 dismantling of Philly. He’s looked better and better since returning from injury, appearing in only 16 regular season games plagued by efficiency issues. His poor shooting can easily be excused by his long absence, and the fact that he’s playing at this level in the playoffs speaks volumes to the amount of work he put in to get back into game shape.
That being said, the Celtics are up with a 3-2 lead over the Sixers with a chance to put them away tonight on their home court. Tatum has taken between 17 and 19 FGA in four of the games this series and this volume should likely continue tonight. He’s progressively attempted more and more threes as the series has gone on, and his high volume from deep helps make his case for a big night. If he connects from three point land at a reasonable clip, he should be a safe bet to score More than 25.5, even if he’s only done it once this series.

Towns is not exactly known for being an offensive hub capable of generating meaningful assist numbers. He’s sitting at just 3.1 APG throughout his career. However, this series has demanded that he step up a bit in this department, and he’s delivered, as evidenced by a massive 20-10-10 triple double in Game 4. His assists helped him achieve his first playoff triple-double, making him the fourth Knick with at least one, joining the likes of Walt Frazier, Dick McGuire, and teammate Josh Hart.
His assists mostly came from high-post facilitation. Six of them were cashed in by OG Anunoby. New York played through Towns at the top and surrounded him with off-ball movement, and whenever Anunoby was able to make a clean cut to the rim, Towns would dime him for an easy bucket. New York will likely replicate this strategy to continue to draw attention away from Brunson, who was mostly struggling with tight, physical coverage besides his last game, during which he went nuts.

I’m confused by PG’s line tonight, considering he has not fallen short of 14.5 points in any of the games during this first-round series. George is averaging 17.2 PPG this series with .492/.538/.750 shooting splits. Given how hot he’s been from deep, it’s confusing how he’s only taking 5.2 3PA and 12.2 FGA per game. The Sixers will need more scoring out of George to extend this series, and I’m expecting him to up the volume tonight in an elimination game.
Even if George has an average shooting night, he’s scored more than 14.5 in every game this series and I don’t expect that to change given his role on this team and the high minutes he receives.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
