Note: The table above is updated as regularly as every five minutes, so odds are likely to change.
The Dream continue to be a dominant rebounding team, leading the league in rebounds per game (45.0), especially on the offensive end, where they’re rebounding at a 37.5% rate. With three starters standing over 6-foot and Atlanta’s identity centered around playing physically in the paint, I’m not surprised the public likes the over on rebounds tonight.
Hillmon has cleared 5.5 rebounds just once this season, but that’s a small sample size considering the Dream have only played three games so far. Tonight, Atlanta faces a smaller Dallas Wings squad that averages just 30.8 rebounds per game and focuses more on spacing the floor than clogging the paint, making 5.5 boards feel attainable for the 26-year-old.
Mitchell is a bucket, there’s no doubting that, but that’s where her game primarily lies. Last season, with multiple guards sidelined, including star Caitlin Clark, Mitchell’s assist average rose to 3.4 APG compared to just 1.8 the season prior. However, with Clark back as the predominant floor general, Mitchell simply has to do what she does best: score.
The 30-year-old is averaging just 2.0 assists per game through five contests this season, with two of those games resulting in zero assists. I’m comfortable taking the under here, especially against a Valkyries defense that has looked like one of the best in the league, limiting opponents to just 18.8 assists per game.
Reese has adjusted nicely to her knew home in Atlanta, averaging 10.7 points and 12.7 rebounds per game through her first three contests. While she remains one of the league’s premier rebounders, the public appears to be leaning toward the under tonight for a few reasons. Most importantly, the line feels inflated. Reese has cleared 13.5 rebounds just twice this season, meaning bettors are banking on another ceiling performance rather than her average output. Dallas also plays with pace and spacing instead of consistently attacking the paint, which can limit traditional rebounding opportunities for opposing bigs.
The Wings’ offensive style creates more long rebounds off perimeter shots, and that doesn’t always favor interior rebounders like Reese. While she’s fully capable of dominating the glass, the matchup and elevated number help explain why the public is backing the under tonight.
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a Same Game Parlay Extra and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together… feel free to tag along!
Naz Hillmon Rebounds Over 5.5 (-155)
Kelsey Mitchell Assists Under 2.5 (-110)
Angel Reese Rebounds Under 13.5 Rebounds (-127)
