A new season of From is underway! Here’s everything you need to know going into the fourth episode of Season 4.
In terms of story pacing, Episode 3 Season 4 of From was a bit frustrating after Episode 2 was also on the slower side of things. Feels like last episode was more about establishing pairings and getting some characters back together on screen after not seeing one another in a bit.
We’ll get into those details in a bit. First, let’s look at some important details surrounding From Episode 4 Season 4.
When does From Season 4 Episode 4 come out?
Season 4 Episode 4 will premiere on MGM+ on Sunday, May 10. The episode is titled Of Myths and Monsters. Like the first three episodes of Season 4, this should have a run time between 45 and 60 minutes.

Everything You Need to Know Before From Episode 4 Season 4
The biggest highlight from last episode, at least on the surface, is that Sophia is moving her plan along at a quickened pace.
But hidden among the crows (and maybe zombie hands?) was a potential realization by Jade.
Sophia / Man in the Yellow Suit — She went from planting seeds with Sara to transforming Julie into a rabid dog aimed at Kenny. This is quite the escalation, but this character has plenty of experience when it comes to manipulating people. I can’t help but wonder if Kenny is Sophia’s target. Her decision to move in with Sara has him revved up, and now someone with a level of pull (Julie) is very upset with the deputy. Losing Kenny feels like something the town couldn’t come back from.
Boyd — This place never lets the man breathe. Those hands that popped out of the ground provided a pretty good jumpscare. Zombies came to mind, but it can’t be that. Right? Had to be the monsters who come out at night.
Tabitha — Just when she finally decides she wants to do something, Henry gets in her way. Though, it may be for the best, as our creepy pal in white returned to reveal that the bottle tree may not be of use to her anymore.
Julie — Doing what she can to get better at storywalking, which I appreciate. Randall seems committed to helping her, and their relationship has done a lot to both redeem him and also elevate Julie.
Victor — Everyone’s favorite duo of Ethan and Victor are finally back together! They’re in search of the Lake of Tears, but they stumbled upon something far more significant: The Man in Yellow’s jacket. (Although, are the lake and the jacket connected?) Victor didn’t handle this finding well. One can only hope he has enough info to help everyone sniff out Sophia for who she really is.
Jade — Just when it seemed like he was stuck in his tortured-genius era again, he may have stumbled upon something. The Lake of Tears. When Victor was stopped dead in his tracks and began to weep, Jade made a point to clock the mushrooms growing in that area. I’m not a plant expert, but I think mushroom growth is an indicator of moisture. (Maybe they’re in the Lake of Tears right now, and it’s since dried up — though not enough to prevent mushrooms from popping up.)
Acosta — Feels like she’s finally starting to cool off. She had some dark moments in Episode 3, but it at least somewhat feels like her and Boyd are starting to connect a smidge. Although, Boyd’s side of the connection gives me reason to think she’s far from safe.
Fatima — I love this character and greatly respect her ability to forgive (or at least move past some dreadful things), but now she’s working with Elgin? I’m sure that’ll end well.
And here’s the synopsis for this week’s episode of From, per IMDb: A sinister finding forces Boyd’s team into defensive mode as Julie experiments with her strange new abilities and Sara endures psychological torment from mysterious voices.
