The NBA Playoffs continue tonight as what should be an entertaining series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs gets rolling. OKC has plenty of talent and the now back-to-back MVP on its side, but the play of big man Chet Holmgren has provided a massive impact throughout this postseason run. Now, he’ll need to step up in a big way against the league’s most fearsome defender in the opposing frontcourt.

Here are the top Chet Holmgren prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s Thunder vs. Spurs Game 1 in the Western Conference Finals.

Best Chet Holmgren prop bets

The past year has been the most successful of Chet Holmgren’s young career. In the offseason, he signed a massive five-year, $239.25 million contract extension with the Thunder after playing a key role in the team’s 2025 title run. He followed that payday up with 69 appearances in the regular season, averaging 17.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting 55.7% from the field. While his three-point percentage took a very slight downtick, his scoring and rebounding averages were the best of his three seasons on the court, and his overall efficiency marked another career high.

Now, he’s been just as impressive in the playoffs as Oklahoma City has coasted to a perfect 8-0 record across the first two rounds. Last postseason was difficult on the big man as he struggled with his efficiency across the board, but he’s proving that he can rise to the occasion with each passing game. Holmgren averages 18.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per game over his eight appearances, shooting 60.0% overall and 38.7% from deep. He’s also continued to pitch in as a defender as well, posting 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals in addition to his presence on the glass.

Holmgren has clearly been the second-best player on this roster in the playoffs. His role is a crucial one and should become even more important now against an excellent Spurs group led by Victor Wembanyama at center.

Tonight, DraftKings Sportsbook lists Holmgren’s prop bet lines at O/U 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 three pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 26.5.

For a little bit of context, Holmgren has appeared in four games against Wembanyama and the Spurs this season. Across that sample, he averaged just 10.5 points per game on a split of 38.7% shooting from the field and 20.0% from three. He also posted 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. Now, it should be noted that he played only 28.2 minutes per game over this span, so Holmgren didn’t exactly see extended work. However, he’s also been at 31.4 minutes a night in the postseason so far, so there’s not a massive uptick in minutes for the big man lately, either.

With those numbers in mind, I don’t love the overs on Holmgren’s lines. Wembanyama’s length on defense bothers just about any player who he faces, and Holmgren doesn’t exactly have the bulk or the strength to really take it to him in the post. After scoring eight, 10, seven, and 17 points across those four matchups, it’s quite possible the Thunder’s young star struggles again tonight. If you go back to the three seasons of past matchups between these two players, Holmgren has averaged just 13.8 PPG against Wembanyama while shooting 48.7% overall and 34.6% from deep.

For that reason, I’m comfortable fading his scoring and targeting under 15.5 points at -103 odds.
