Johnson is off to a steady start in her rookie season, joining a Seattle Storm team that is retooling with a fresh roster from last season. Through her first four games in the league, the LSU star is averaging 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while playing the most minutes on the team. However, she’s coming off a rough shooting outing against the Fever in which she shot just 21.4% from the field and missed all four of her attempts from deep.
If you dive deeper into the box score, Johnson’s scoring production is coming primarily from the charity stripe rather than from her mid-range bag. With four games now under her belt, I’m expecting her efficiency to improve, and tonight’s matchup against Connecticut presents a softer defensive test. The 0-5 Sun are allowing 95.4 points per game (14th) and rank 13th in defensive efficiency (114.7), while also struggling to string together anything remotely cohesive on either end of the floor. Johnson needs a bounce-back performance, and tonight feels like the right opportunity for her to sharpen up offensively.
The value! Here! Is! Insane! Bueckers is coming off a scorching 4-of-5 shooting night from beyond the arc, raising her season three-point percentage to a ridiculous 62.5% (mind you, the sample size is small). The Dallas star currently ranks ninth in the league in threes made per game at 2.5, and she has knocked down 2+ triples in three of her four games this season.
Tonight, she faces a Sky team that has exceeded early-season expectations, currently leading the league in defensive rating (97.2) while allowing just 7.3 made threes per game (6th). However, Rickea Jackson will unfortunately miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, which could immediately weaken Chicago’s defensive identity in its first game without her.
Clark is firmly settling back into her rhythm after a rocky shooting start to the 2026 season. Her assist numbers, though, never really wavered after the Indiana star missed more than 290 days of game action. Through four games, Clark is averaging 9.0 assists and a whopping 24.3 points per game, leading the league in the former category. The 24-year-old has cleared 8.5 assists three times this season, including two performances with 10+ assists, and I expect her to continue that level of distribution against the Portland Fire tonight.
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together… feel free to tag along!
Flau’jae Johnson 15+ Points (-158)
Paige Bueckers 2+ Three Pointers Made (+128)
Caitlin Clark Over 8.5 Assists (-120)
