Blake Krass shares his top fantasy baseball Pick6 picks and plays for the Wednesday slate. Check ’em out here!
The MLB season is rolling along. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.

Trevor Larnach is having a good season in Minnesota, and he should have a big game today against the Astros. Mike Burrows is on the mound for Houston, who has really struggled this season. Burrows has a 5.72 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP. That ERA ranks dead last out of 75 eligible pitchers this season. Burrows has been particularly bad against left-handed hitters. His left-handed opponents have a .336 batting average and a 1.006 OPS this season. To make matters worse, Burrows has an 8.02 ERA in four day-game starts this year. Larnach, meanwhile, has been dreadful against left-handed pitchers, but his numbers are really solid against righties. Larnach has a .290 batting average and an .825 OPS against righties this season. Everything sets up for Larnach to get after Burrows in this game. If it comes down to it, the Astros also have the worst bullpen ERA in baseball this season.

Riley Greene is red-hot at the moment for the Tigers. Over the last 15 days, Greene has been batting .467 with a 1.156 OPS. He has not really hit for power, but he is completely dialed in at the plate, racking up multi-hit games. In the month of May, Greene has at least one hit in 15 of his 17 games played. Greene should register another base hit against Tanner Bibee and the Guardians tonight. Bibee has not been great this season, with a 4.15 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP. That is despite Bibee having a solid home record. Away from Progressive Field, it has been a nightmare for Tanner Bibee. He has an 8.15 ERA in his four starts away from home. In a matchup between these two, Riley Greene clearly has the upper hand. He should record a base hit, at the very least.

It should be a big night for Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani has been remarkable on the mound this season, arguably pitching even better than he has been hitting. Ohtani has a 0.82 ERA and a 0.82 WHIP. That is by far the best ERA in baseball among pitchers to throw at least 40 innings this season. It is no fluke either, as Ohtani’s xERA is second only to Paul Skenes in the MLB this season. He has a favorable matchup against this Padres lineup tonight. San Diego has really struggled against left-handed pitchers this season. The Padres rank 29th in the MLB in OPS against left-handed pitching, with a team OPS of .586. They have a K-percentage of 24.4%, the seventh-highest in baseball. Ohtani should dominate this lineup tonight and throw at least eight strikeouts, something he has done in each of his past three starts.
Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
