Blake Krass details his best NBA player prop bets for Game 2 between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks in the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
The New York Knicks dominated Game 1 at Madison Square Garden against the Philadelphia 76ers. New York is looking to take a 2-0 lead with them to Philadelphia by winning Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Knicks enter as 10.5-point home favorites with -425 Moneyline odds. The game total is set at O/U 215.5 points.
Here are the top Knicks vs. 76ers prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday night’s NBA Playoffs matchup.
Josh Hart had a great Game 1 showing against the 76ers. Hart had a real shot at a triple-double, with eight points, eight rebounds, and six assists heading into the fourth quarter. However, Hart and the rest of the Knicks’ starters sat out the entire fourth quarter due to their massive lead. At the very least, Hart would have secured one more bucket and two more rebounds to reach a double-double. Hart achieved a double-double in both Games 1 and 2 against the Hawks, and came up one rebound short in Game 4. Hart always crashes the boards hard, and with Joel Embiid out for this game, Hart and the Knicks should have an easier time dominating on the glass.
In Josh Hart’s three regular-season games against the 76ers, he had double-digit rebounds twice. In the one game where he didn’t reach that mark, he had seven rebounds and nine assists, flirting with a triple-double. Hart has 18 career postseason double-doubles. When the Knicks played the 76ers in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, Hart had a double-double in three of the six games. If Josh Hart can replicate his performance from Game 1, but play all four quarters, he will have a good shot at recording not just a double-double, but a triple-double. That makes this a great bet to make at odds of +154.
The major storyline heading into Game 2 is the absence of Joel Embiid. While on paper that is a major blow for the 76ers, it could give them the jolt they need to bounce back after Game 1. The Game 1 blowout to the Knicks was embarrassing for Philadelphia. The first quarter of the game set a tone that Joel Embiid would get the ball in the mid-post and try to get a look or draw a foul. In the first quarter, Tyrese Maxey only attempted one field goal, while Embiid went 1/6 from the floor. In Game 2, Tyrese Maxey will be the one creating the offense with Joel Embiid in street clothes. That could be a good thing for the 76ers’ offense. Maxey proved he can be the No. 1 guy while Embiid missed time this season. Now, he gets the chance to prove it in the postseason.
Tyrese Maxey was incredible in the series against the Celtics. He scored at least 29 points in four of the seven games against Boston. Two of those came in the three games that Embiid did not play. Over Games 2 and 3 of that series, with Embiid sidelined, Maxey combined to shoot an absurd 59 field goals. He showed that he has the confidence and ability to take the shots and be the primary scorer in a postseason game.
Maxey gave the Knicks fits in the regular season, scoring at least 30 points in three of the four games against New York. He scored at least 30 points in both of the games against the Knicks in which Embiid did not play. Even if it is in a losing effort where he is trying to do everything himself, Tyrese Maxey should show what he is capable of and score at least 28 points in this game.
