The UFC announced that Islam Makhachev will defend his UFC Welterweight Championship against No. 1 Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330 on August 15 in Philadelphia at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Makhachev, 34, is the current No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC. Machdo Garry is 17-1 with eight career finishes and has a record of 10-1 in the UFC. He suffered his lone career loss against Shavkat Rakhmonov in December 2024 but followed it up with two big victories over Carlos Prates and Belal Muhammad.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Makhachev is a -278 favorite with Machado Garry being a +220 underdog in this contest.
