Dominique Malonga 1+ Three Pointers Made (+108): Malonga, the 20-year-old from France, is one of my favorite sophomores to watch in 2026. The athleticism jumps out right away, but what really stands out is how fluid she moves for her size. She only played 14.3 minutes per game last season, but still put up 7.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks while being one of the youngest players in the league. What makes this prop interesting on opening night is simple: Malonga doesn’t shoot threes! She attempted just 18 all season and made four. But with Seattle overhauling the roster and losing players like Nneka Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Gabby Williams, and Brittney Sykes, there’s real opportunity for her to get shots up. In the opener against Golden State, I’d love to see her be more aggressive and expand her range, and at +108 just to make one three, the value is hard to ignore.
Brittney Sykes Under 14.5 Points (-120): Speaking of players leaving Seattle, Sykes steps into a veteran role with the new expansion franchise Toronto Tempo. She split last season between the Mystics and Storm, averaging 15.4 points, 4.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds and an All-Star nod in Washington before heading to Seattle. Her versatility shows on both ends. Sykes can score, but efficiency has been an issue, shooting 38.3% over her last two seasons. With Toronto playing its first regular season game and Marina Mabrey coming off a scoring title in Unrivaled, it’s unclear who takes over as the top option. I’m not confident Sykes clears 14.5, and the public seems to agree.
Brittney Griner 1+ Three Pointers Made (+329): For the first game on the slate tonight, 10-time All-Star Brittney Griner makes her debut with the Connecticut Sun against title favorites New York. It’s not an easy matchup, but she brings 12 years of experience to a young team playing its final season in Connecticut before relocating. Similar to Malonga, Griner isn’t known for shooting threes. She didn’t attempt one in six of her 12 seasons, but did take 19 last year with the Dream and made five. The numbers aren’t great, but it shows she’s at least willing as the game evolves. In a season opener against a high-powered Liberty offense, I can see her taking a shot from deep.
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together… feel free to tag along!
