This marks the second matchup of the series after the Phillies produced a 7-0 win yesterday. This also came in the first matchup of the post-Rob Thomson era after Philadelphia elected to fire the manager following the 9-19 start to the season. Don Mattingly took over at manager as of yesterday, and the Phillies will hope this provides the desired spark to the organization moving forward for a team that entered the season with World Series aspirations.

Cristopher Sanchez and Logan Webb are the expected starters for the matchup.

Looking at the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Phillies hold +153 odds on the -1.5 run line, and the Giants hold +123 odds of winning outright. The run total is set at seven.
