Right now, details on the movie are limited, but it appears to be a supernatural thriller. Elements including cosmic horror and even dinosaurs (!) could be in play here according to the trailer. A fun popcorn flick, if executed correctly, always makes for a crowd pleaser.

Closing out 2026 for Hathaway will be Verity, directed by Michael Showalter. It’s another thriller, this time centering around a mysterious author. The cast is promising, with Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett as co-leads. Hathaway will be playing the titular character, Verity Crawford, a bestselling writer with some dark secrets. This one is set for a fall release, giving it some distance from the rest of Hathaway’s films this year.
