Brendan O’Sullivan provides the opening odds for the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys 2026 Week 1 NFL matchup.
Football is only a few months away, and regular season schedule release day is a checkpoint toward the glorious Sunday watch parties with friends and families. Week 1 is unique in that the season kicks off with a Wednesday night Super Bowl rematch.
Sunday, however, features a typical full slate. The Giants and Cowboys will be the 8:20 p.m. ET game on Sunday, Sept. 13. Opening odds for this matchup are live, and it’s never too early to take a look.
Here are the opening odds of Giants vs. Cowboys on DraftKings Sportsbook for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season.
The Cowboys open as 2.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Giants are +110 underdogs, with the total set at 48.5.

The Giants bolstered the defense and offensive line with two top 10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. That said, one of those picks came via trading away star defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence. The offense still revolves around Malik Nabers, and the team will look for Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo to take the next step in their development.
The Cowboys are still rocking with Dak Prescott, which means the offense will be strong. His connection with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens will put up plenty of points. The defense was horrendous last year, so any bit of improvement would make a big difference in the NFC East race.
