Following a weekend of NHL action, a couple of first-round series have wrapped up in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The nightly slates now shrink slightly, but Monday still provides a couple of games with plenty of intrigue. At 7 p.m. ET, the Penguins try to stave off elimination against the Flyers. Later on, the Mammoth try to pad their 2-1 series lead in a pivotal Game 4 against the Golden Knights.

Best NHL player prop bets for Monday 4/27/26

Sidney Crosby 4+ shots on goal (+155)

Pittsburgh faced a potential sweep over the weekend in Philadelphia, but kept its season alive for at least one more game. The Pens took a lead in the first period and ended up securing a 4-2 victory, scoring as many goals in one game as they had across the entire series thus far. Sidney Crosby finally found the back of the net, and while the Flyers are limiting shots on goal quite effectively as they did all throughout the regular season, I do like one of his props tonight. He leads the Penguins with 13 SOG in the playoffs and has put at least three shots on goal in all four games so far. He tallied four SOG in two of those four matchups. Given how he’s been one of the few consistent shooters in this series, he should continue to play aggressively with his team backed into a corner. The +155 odds on this line look pretty nice, making 4+ SOG for Crosby a top prop bet tonight.

Jack Eichel 1+ assists (-145)

The Golden Knights enter what’s basically a must-win matchup trying to keep themselves from going down 3-1 in their series. Playing on the road is tough in this one given the stakes, but this team certainly has the talent to even things up. The top-line forwards have been responsible for five of Vegas’ eight goals through three games, which bodes well for Jack Eichel’s assists prop. The star has a goal and two assists so far in the series and leads the team in TOI at 22:47. Mark Stone and Ivan Barbashev have two goals apiece and have been incredibly efficient on their looks, and while Karel Vejmelka has played quite well, those finishers have gotten the better of him to this point. There’s a great chance Eichel notches a helper tonight, which is why we’re taking this line for what feels like a reliable option.
