Ryan Wohl breaks down his best bet for Amanda Serrano vs. Cheyenne Hanson, which is the co-main event of tonight’s MVPW 03 card.
In the co-main event of tonight’s MVPW 03 boxing event, Amanda Serrano is defending her WBA and WBO Featherweight titles against Cheyenne Hanson. The Main Card for this event begins at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. This event is being headlined by a rematch between Stephanie Han and Holly Holm.
Check out my best bet for Amanda Serrano vs. Cheyenne Hanson at tonight’s Most Valuable Promotions boxing event.
Serrano, 37, is 48-4-1 with 31 knockouts in her illustrious career. After losing back-to-back fights to Katie Taylor, Serrano got back in the win column against Reina Tellez in January. Taylor has three wins over Serrano and is the only fighter to beat the Featherweight Champion in the previous 13 years. After fighting only once in 2025, Serrano is staying active this year, with this being her second fight in the first five months of 2026.
Hanson enters this bout on a nine-fight winning streak and is 17-2 with 13 knockouts in her career. Two months ago, Hanson beat Flor Rodriguez by sixth-round knockout. Hanson hasn’t suffered a loss since June 2021, when she came up short against Phannarai Netisri.
In this contest, Serrano is slightly taller than Hanson (5’5.5″ vs. 5’4.5″). Although Hanson has a big winning streak, she is still a massive +1400 underdog while Serrano is the favorite at -4000 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Serrano is the more experienced fighter in this contest and should be able to break Hanson down throughout the fight. Since only two of Serrano’s last 10 victories have come in the first five rounds, I’m taking the over 5.5 rounds in this bout. Recently, Serrano has been more passive than before, and it would be surprising if she were to pick up an early victory.
