Alex Hunter previews the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club and gives his picks for your DraftKings fantasy golf lineups.
We head to Aronimink Golf Club (par 70, 7,394 yards, bentgrass greens) in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, for the 2026 PGA Championship. Aronimink was designed by Donald Ross and this course previously hosted the PGA Championship in 1976, the AT&T National in 2010 and 2011, and the BMW Championship in 2018. Keegan Bradley (-20) defeated Justin Rose in a playoff to win the 2018 BMW Championship. This week’s PGA Championship features 156 golfers competing for a $19 million purse and there will be a top-70 and ties cut after the first two rounds.
Below, I dive into three of my favorite DFS options on DraftKings for the PGA Championship.

Young has been on a magical run of golf and his success should continue to Aronimink. Young has finished inside the top-10 in six of his last seven starts, including wins at THE PLAYERS Championship in March and at the Cadillac Championship in April. His last time out, Young finished T-10 at the Truist Championship last week, which was played at Quail Hollow Club. Young had never finished better than T-37 in his three starts at Quail Hollow before this and in the third round of the Truist Championship, Young fired off an 8-under 63 at Quail Hollow, which is his best round at the par 71 by six shots.
Young overcoming his woes at Quail Hollow and contending at the course is a clear testament that he is playing the best golf of his career. Young sits a career-best No. 3 in the world golf rankings and he ranks second on the PGA TOUR in total strokes gained this season, trailing only Scottie Scheffler. Young also ranks top-eight in both SG OTT and par four performance, which bodes well for Aronimink, as two of the past three winners at this venue have finished the week top-10 in both SG OTT and par four performance.
Aronimink was designed by Donald Ross, which is another encouraging sign for Young. The 29-year-old secured his first PGA TOUR win at the Ross-designed Sedgefield CC last August. Young has also finished inside the top-six in two of his three starts at the Ross-designed Detroit Golf Club. When we compare this field’s histories at Ross venues, Young ranks 10th in strokes gained per round.
Woodland continues to play excellent golf. The 41-year-old has made six straight cuts and four of these finishes have been top-20 results. Woodland began this stretch with a six-shot win at the Houston Open and he just finished T-17 at the Truist Championship last week while ranking fifth in SG APP among the stacked field for the Signature Event.
Woodland has been one of the top drivers on the PGA TOUR this season, ranking 13th in SG OTT, which sets him up well for the lengthy Aronimink, where Woodland has succeeded in the past. The bomber finished T-12 at the 2018 BMW Championship and T-47 at the 2011 AT&T National.
Woodland has made 10-of-14 cuts at the PGA Championship with four top-25 finishes and the veteran is a steal at only $7,300.
Rai has finished T-39 and T-19 at the last two PGA Championships, and the Englishman is on the heels of a T-5 finish at the Myrtle Beach Classic last week. This marked Rai’s best finish of the season and he gained strokes across the board at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
Rai has made 7-of-9 cuts with four top-25 finishes this season and Aronimink being a Ross creation is terrific news for Rai. The 31-year-old won at Sedgefield CC by two shots in 2024 and he finished T-5 at the Ross design the next season. Plus, Rai has finished T-9 and runner-up in his two starts at Detroit Golf Club.
Rai ranks seventh among this field in strokes gained per round at Ross courses and Rai has impressively made the cut at eight consecutive majors.
