Mick Foley is officially part of AEW Double or Nothing weekend.

AEW President Tony Khan announced on social media that the WWE Hall of Famer will host the official Double or Nothing preshow, “The Buy In,” alongside Renee Paquette.

The news comes not long after Foley’s departure from WWE. Earlier this year, Foley revealed that he chose not to renew his WWE Legends contract, ending his longtime relationship with the company. Foley had publicly expressed frustration over political differences and the direction of the promotion, which led many fans to wonder whether he could eventually show up in AEW.

While Foley will not be wrestling, his appearance is still a big moment for AEW. Foley has been one of the most respected and recognizable names in the industry for decades, thanks to his unforgettable runs as Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love.

His addition gives AEW Double or Nothing even more star power heading into one of the company’s biggest pay-per-view events of the year. The announcement also sparked plenty of excitement online, with fans reacting positively to seeing Foley officially connected to AEW programming.
