The Group of Death at the 2026 World Cup is set to begin soon, with a 3 p.m. ET match in New York/New Jersey between tournament favorites France and African giants Senegal. By combined FIFA World Ranking, it’s set to be the second-highest-quality match of the group stage, as Les Bleus rank second and the Lions of Teranga 16th.
Both teams’ lineups are now set. Didier Deschamps has selected the 11 men who will represent France this afternoon, and Pape Thiaw has done the same for Senegal.
