Heiskanen averaged just 2.0 shots on goal and 4.6 shot attempts per game during the regular season, but he has been much more aggressive this postseason, averaging 3.8 shots on goal and 7.8 shot attempts per game. He ranks second in both shots on goal and shot attempts among defensemen this postseason, as well. With their backs against the wall, I expect the Stars to come out of the gates with aggressive offense that gets the puck on net as much as possible. The Wild ranked inside the top-10 in shots allowed per game during the regular season and allowed a combined 81 shots in Games 3 and 4 at home.
Considering LaCombe leads all defensemen in assists this postseason, a -105 price tag feels like a steal. The 25-year-old has seven assists already, and he has notched at least one in all but one game this series. He sports a 74.2% on-ice xGoals%, which ranks second on the Ducks, and he leads the team in ice time. This series has featured a combined 40 goals across the first five games, so the scoring opportunities will be there, and LaCombe will almost certainly be involved. Plus, he notched at least one assist in 26 of 43 home games during the regular season.
