MLB DFS Picks: Top Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for Satur...
Zach Thompson · 2026-06-27 · via DraftKings Network

On Saturday, Major League Baseball has eight games on the main slate. Contests lock at 7:05 p.m. ET, and with 16 of the 30 MLB teams in the player pool, there is no shortage of star power to consider. As you pinpoint your high-salary stars to build around, you may need to dive into the bargain bin and find a few MLB DFS Value Picks to balance out your spending. In this post, we’ll look at three of my top MLB DFS value picks, who each bring excellent upside at a bargain salary.

  • SP Andre Pallante, St. Louis Cardinals vs. Miami Marlins, $8,100: Pallante has 15+ FPTS in four straight starts and six of his last seven, averaging 17.6 FPTS per start. He’s at home in this favorable matchup against Miami.
  • SS Cooper Pratt, Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs, $3,100: Pratt has five stolen bases in 10 games and is averaging 7.3 FPTS, going 8-for-29 (.276). He has at least 7.0 FPTS in six of his last eight games with multiple at-bats after posting 18 FPTS on Friday.
  • OF Kahlil Watson, Cleveland Guardians vs. Seattle Mariners, $2,200: Watson has huge upside for a player just over the minimum salary. He is 6-for-14 (.462) in his last four games with a double, a home run and a stolen base for an average of 12.5 FPTS per game.

Let’s dive in and take a closer look at these options, who come with low salaries but high ceilings this Saturday.

Top MLB DFS Value Plays

SP Andre Pallante, St. Louis Cardinals vs. Miami Marlins, $8,100

Pallante has gone 9-4 in his 15 starts this season, posting a 3.59 ERA and 4.10 FIP. He only has 64 strikeouts in his 82 2/3 innings, but he has picked up enough wins to be a very solid fantasy producer lately. He has won four straight outings, posting a 2.19 ERA and 3.02 FIP by allowing 16 hits in 24 2/3 innings.

While he is just over $8,000, he is still an excellent value play since he has posted over 15 FPTS in each of his last four games and in six of his last seven. He posted 25.4 FPTS two starts ago against the Padres in a home start, and he’ll be in a similar situation Saturday against the Marlins. The Marlins rank in the bottom 10 in runs scored over the last two weeks and are just outside the top 10 in K% with 8.9 strikeouts per game over the last 14 days. Even though Pallante doesn’t always rack up a ton of strikeouts, he has been productive enough to be a solid play at this price, especially since the rest of the options that are cheaper than him are much higher risk on Saturday night.

SS Cooper Pratt, Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs, $3,100

Pratt is the Brewers’ No. 4 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, and he has made an immediate impact since his promotion in mid-June. He hit .241 in Triple-A with six homers, a .338 wOBA and 17 stolen bases in 58 games. His power hasn’t shown in the majors yet, but his speed has made him a productive fantasy asset.

In his first 10 games in the majors, he’s averaging 7.3 FPTS, going 8-for-29 (.276) with a double, two RBIs and five stolen bases. He has at least 7.0 FPTS in six of his last eight games with multiple at-bats and started this series with the Cubs with two walks, a single and a stolen base for 18 FPTS.

OF Kahlil Watson, Cleveland Guardians vs. Seattle Mariners, $2,200

Watson joined the Guardians as a reinforcement with Jose Ramirez (hand), Chase DeLauter (rib) and Angel Martinez (foot) all landing on the injured list. The 23-year-old lefty displayed intriguing power and speed potential in his time at Triple-A, but he got off to an 0-for-12 start in his first four games. Since then, though, he has found his groove, going 6-for-14 (.462) in his last four games with a double, a home run and a stolen base for an average of 12.5 FPTS per game.

Watson had 12 home runs and 14 stolen bases with a .255/.370/.491 slash line in Triple-A. He has the power and speed to offer a very high ceiling for a player just over the minimum salary. He’ll be taking on Logan Gilbert ($9,800) and Emerson Hancock ($7,800) as the Mariners piggyback the two starters on Saturday night.
