There are only two games on the NBA Playoff slate tonight, beginning with the Magic visiting the Pistons at 7 PM EST and the Suns visiting the Thunder at 9:30 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
The Suns did a good job of making life miserable for Gilgeous-Alexander in Game 1, as evidenced by his 5/18 shooting performance. He still got to the line a whopping 17 times, though, and managed to salvage his night with 25 points and a victory at the end.
Not only is it unrealistic to expect Gilgeous-Alexander to shoot 28% from the floor again, but even if he did, the fact that he got to 25 with just five made field goals and the rest with free throws bodes well for his odds of exceeding 29.5 tonight against the Suns.

Detroit was the team that conceded the fewest assists per game in the regular season at 23.5. So how did Carter Jr. go for five in Game 1? He operated as their safety, with his five assists going to a Jalen Suggs three, a Franz Wagner layup, two Tristan da Silva baskets, and a Desmond Bane jumper. Once Detroit’s defense is preoccupied elsewhere, Carter Jr. takes advantage of the shifting defense to find openings. It’s not like he suddenly became a high usage playmaker, but he simply made correct passes over and over again.

One would expect Detroit, after a surprising Game 1 upset loss to the Magic, to try to get Duren more involved for the rest of the series. Duren scored only eight points with four shot attempts in 33 minutes of play.
But Orlando knows this. It’s not exactly easy; the Magic have multiple bodies like Wendell Carter Jr., Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, and Goga Bitadze they can throw at Duren in the paint to make his life miserable. The Magic deliberately collapsed on Duren’s roll opportunities and effectively denied him the ball. Furthermore, Duren only collected seven rebounds compared to his 10.5 season average. We can expect the Magic to continue following this game plan, as allowing Cade Cunningham to play hero ball is probably not a winning formula for the Pistons.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of at least two players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
