Brendan O’Sullivan details his best NBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 4 between the Thunder and Lakers.
The Thunder lead the Lakers 3-0 in the Western Conference semifinals with Game 4 on Monday, May 11. Oklahoma City is an 11.5-point favorite and -520 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. Los Angeles is +390 with the over/under set at 214.5 points.
Here are three of my favorite prop bets for Game 4 between the Thunder and Lakers.
Holmgren is certainly enjoying this series against the Lakers’ frontcourt. He’s averaging 21.3 points, 10 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 59.5% from the field and 45.5% from three in this series. It’s a small sample size, of course, but it isn’t surprising that the Deandre Ayton and Jaxson Hayes duo are struggling to contain Holmgren.
One day there will be a team that overcomes a 3-0 deficit. The 2025-26 Lakers won’t be that team, and Holmgren will continue his onslaught with his fifth consecutive game with at least 18 points.
The 2026 Western Conference semifinals haven’t been Gilgeous-Alexander’s series. The MVP candidate is averaging 21 points on 45.8% from the field and 36.4% from deep after averaging over 30 points per game for the fourth consecutive regular season.
Luckily for him, the Thunder don’t need him to score 30 points a night to sweep the Lakers. Los Angeles is down 3-0 with Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 18, 22 and 23 in 32 minutes per game. It would be shocking if the Lakers won Game 4. It should be another double-digit margin of victory, which means Gilgeous-Alexander won’t play more than 35 minutes.
Without Luka Doncic, there wasn’t much hope that Los Angeles would make this series competitive. Even with Reaves’ return, the team is severely outmatched by the top overall seed and reigning NBA champions.
Oklahoma City’s defense is hounding Reaves, with him averaging 18.7 points, 7.0 assists and 4.7 turnovers per game while shooting 40% from the field and 25% from behind the arc. The assist numbers are good, but the efficiency is putrid. Reaves will continue to be the main distributor in Game 4, racking up at least six assists, but it won’t be pretty.
In five playoff games this year, Reaves has at least six dimes in four. Focus on the volume because the Thunder’s defense makes just about everyone struggle.
