Stan Son provides the opening odds for the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings 2026 Week 1 NFL matchup.
Football is only a few months away, and regular season schedule release day is a checkpoint toward the glorious Sunday watch parties with friends and families. Week 1 is unique in that the season kicks off with a Wednesday night Super Bowl rematch.
Sunday, however, features a typical full slate. The Packers and Vikings will be one of the four games that start at 4:25 p.m. ET. Opening odds for this matchup are live, and it’s never too early to take a look.
Here are the opening odds of Packers vs. Vikings on DraftKings Sportsbook for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season.
The Packers open as 1.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Vikings are +105 underdogs, with the total set at 44.5.

The Green Bay Packers finished second in the NFC North last season with a record of 9-7-1. It’s all about health for the Packers, especially at wide receiver and tight end. If Tucker Kraft, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden and Jayden Reed can all stay relatively healthy, Green Bay could be one of the top offenses in the league.
The Minnesota Vikings finished third in the NFC North last season with a 9-8 record. J.J. McCarthy was putrid when healthy and putrid when injured. He was likely putrid on the bench as well. As a result, Kyler Murray was brought into the mix and will likely be the starting quarterback for the Vikings. The weapons are there. If Kevin O’Connell can coax vintage Murray to make a return, Minnesota could be legitimate contenders.
