Ryan Wohl previews Saturday’s Matchroom Boxing card headlined by a WBA Title Eliminator between Jarrell Miller vs. Lenier Pero.
Matchroom Boxing continues its busy 2026 schedule with its 12th card of the year on Saturday, April 25, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Fontainebleau. This card is headlined by a WBA Heavyweight Title Eliminator between Jarrell Miller and Lenier Pero. Miller is coming off a split decision victory against Kingsley Ibeh, while Pero enters this bout with an undefeated 13-0 record.
Pero has won eight of his 13 bouts by knockout and last beat Jordan Thompson in November 2025. Veteran Jarrell Miller has a big edge in experience in this contest, as this will be his 31st professional fight. Miller’s last fight against Ibeh was his first contest in over a year. Now that he is coming off a 10-round fight a few months ago, Miller should be much more prepared for this contest.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Miller is a slight -150 favorite with Pero being the underdog at +120. The over/under is set at 10.5 rounds, with the over being -360 and the under being +250. Miller is +135 to win by decision while Pero is +220 to pick up the victory on the judges’ scorecards.
Rising Lightweight contender Alan Chaves faces Miguel Madueno in the co-main event of this card. Chaves has an undefeated record of 21-0 with 18 coming by knockout, while Madueno is 31-4 with 28 knockouts. In Chaves’ last four fights, he has won by knockout in each one. Chaves is a big -1000 favorite with Madueno being a +600 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Also, Chaves is -115 to win this fight by KO/TKO/DQ.
Check out the fight card below. This event begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on DAZN, with the Main Event ringwalks expected at 10:45 p.m. ET.
