Today in Baku, Azerbaijan, the UFC is hosting a Fight Night event! This card is headlined by No. 11 Rafael Fiziev vs. No. 15 Manuel Torres in a five-round lightweight contest. The Main Card for this event begins at 12:00 p.m. ET and airs on Paramount+.
Check out my favorite prop bets for tonight’s UFC Fight Night card.
Shara “Bullet” Magomedov is 16-1 with 12 knockouts and looks to extend his current winning streak against Michel Pereira. Pereira recently snapped his previous three-fight losing streak against Zachary Reese in February. This fight is serving as the co-main event of this card. Magomedov is a phenomenal striker and has recorded over 66.5 significant strikes in four of his previous six UFC contests.
In his last fight against Marc-Andre Barriault, he totaled 93 significant strikes, which was 54 more than his opponent. Pereira has the edge on the ground, but Magomedov should be able to keep this a striking matchup with his 71 percent takedown defense. On the feet, Magomedov has the clear advantage as he averages more significant strikes (5.93 vs. 4.46) at a higher rate (62% vs. 51%) than Pereira. Magomedov hasn’t scored a knockout since October 2024, making it likely he has another three-round fight in store.
Michal Oleksiejczuk has recorded over 32.5 significant strikes in three of his previous four fights. In his last fight against Marc-Andre Barriault, Oleksiejczuk totaled 140 significant strikes, the most in his UFC career. Oleksiejczuk averages 5.85 significant strikes per minute at a 53 percent rate, which is impressive.
Oleksiejczuk will now take on Abus Magomedov, who lost to Joe Pyfer by submission in his last bout. Magomedov will likely try to score takedowns throughout this fight, but Oleksiejczuk is hard to get to the ground. In Oleksiejczuk’s previous seven fights, an opponent hasn’t scored a takedown against him. Oleksiejczuk has an elite striking arsenal on the feet, which should be the difference-maker in this fight. Getting Oleksiejczuk to record over 31.5 significant strikes at -115 is an excellent play considering how much momentum he has entering this fight.
