Alex Hunter provides his top Bud Cauley prop bet for the final round of the RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto.
Sunday’s final round of the RBC Canadian Open is underway at the North Course (par 70, 7,389 yards, bentgrass/POA mix greens) of TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon, Ontario. At -12, Cauley sits second on the leaderboard, only one shot back of the leader, Jackson Suber. Cauley will be seeking his first PGA TOUR win and below, I have featured my favorite Cauley prop bet for the final round on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Cauley shot a 4-under 66 in the third round at the RBC Canadian Open, but in the process, he racked up three bogeys at TPC Toronto. Cauley relied on his putter heavily in the third round, ranking fourth in SGP for the day, but his ball striking was questionable, ranking just 37th.
Cauley only hit 12-of-18 greens and if his ball striking doesn’t improve in the final round, more bogeys will be inevitable for him, especially with rain in the forecast Sunday at TPC Toronto.
Cauley ranks 132nd on the PGA TOUR in final round scoring this season and before this week, he was losing 0.22 strokes per round at courses in Canada for his career, so Cauley feels due for some negative regression in the final round. Add in that there certainly will be some nerves as he seeks his first PGA TOUR win and Cauley is a strong bet for over 2.5 bogeys or worse at this attractive +132 price on DraftKings Sportsbook.
