Ryan Wohl previews Saturday’s UFC Fight Night event in Baku, headlined by Rafael Fiziev vs. Manuel Torres.
This week’s UFC Fight Night is taking place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan, and is headlined by a top-15 Lightweight fight between No. 11 Rafael Fiziev vs. No. 15 Manuel Torres. This event features 13 fights, and four fighters on the card represent the host country, Azerbaijan.
Fiziev’s tough schedule continues as he takes on another rising star in the Lightweight division. Torres, 31, is 17-3 with 16 finishes and is 5-1 in the UFC with five wins by submission or knockout.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the odds are extremely close, with Torres at -112 and Fiziev at -108. Fiziev is getting 69 percent of bets, while 31 percent is on Torres. But on the handle, Torres is receiving 52 percent with 48 percent on Fiziev.
Shara “Bullet” Magomedov faces Michel Pereira in the co-main event of this card. Magomedov is 5-1 in the UFC and has an overall record of 16-1 with 12 knockouts. Pereira is coming off a win against Zachary Reese and is attempting to win his second straight fight for the first time since May 2024.
In the co-main event, Magomedov is a heavy -395 favorite with Pereira as the underdog at +310. Magomedov is a popular choice, as 92 percent of the handle and 89 percent of bets are on him. Meanwhile, Pereira receives just 11 percent of bets and eight percent of the handle.
