Blake Krass shares his top fantasy baseball Pick6 picks and plays for the Saturday MLB slate. Check ’em out here!
The MLB season is heating up. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.

Michael Busch had a dreadful start to the season. On April 12th, he was sporting a dreadful .118 batting average. However, he has caught fire over the last couple of weeks. Since April 12th, Busch is batting .311 with two home runs, eight RBIs and seven runs scored. Busch will be happy to face Roki Sasaki as he tries to keep the hot streak going. Sasaki has been awful this season, sporting a 6.11 ERA. Busch has a home run in one of his three career at-bats against Sasaki. He should keep his success against Sasaki going tonight. Sasaki has struggled in general, but he has been particularly poor against lefties. Lefties are batting .327 with a .955 OPS against Sasaki this season. Michael Busch had a double and a single in the first game of the series against the Dodgers last night and he should stay hot against Sasaki.

Jeffrey Springs should be in for a good outing on Saturday night against the Rangers. Springs has had a solid start to his season, sporting a 3.34 ERA through five starts. He had a rough outing last time out against the White Sox, but he had been brilliant in his four prior starts. One of his starts this year has already been against the Texas Rangers. In that outing, Springs threw 6.1 innings and only gave up one run. This time around, Springs should record five strikeouts or more. Springs has hit this mark in each of his past four starts, including his previous start against Texas. The Rangers have struggled against left-handed pitching as a collective this season. The Rangers have a 31.9% strikeout percentage against lefties this season, the worst mark in the entire MLB. Springs should get to five strikeouts for the fifth consecutive outing.

Elly De La Cruz has been playing great baseball over the past couple of weeks. To be fair, De La Cruz has been great all season. His .889 OPS makes him a top-30 hitter in baseball this season. Over his past 13 games, De La Cruz is batting .315 with 12 RBIs and 13 runs scored. That comes out to an average of 3.2 hits + runs + RBIs over that stretch. De La Cruz should be able to record at least two of those stats in tonight’s game against Detroit. Over his career, De La Cruz has an .839 OPS as a left-handed batter against right-handed pitching. Jack Flaherty has been great against righties this season, but he is allowing a .787 OPS against lefties. De La Cruz personally has a home run in one of his two career at-bats against Flaherty. He should stay hot in this game and generate some runs.
Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
