Best anytime goalscorer props for Tuesday 4/21/26

Cole Caufield anytime goalscorer (+160)

Come on now. We have Cole Caufield on this slate and we’re not supposed to take him for an anytime goal? The 25-year-old star finished second in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy with 51 goals in the regular season, so it’s no surprise that his odds to score today are second shortest in this game behind only Nikita Kucherov. However, I still quite like his chances and am more than comfortable taking Caufield to light the lamp. He got off just two shots on goal in Game 1 but was active as a playmaker with a pair of assists. Such a quiet night in terms of shot attempts surely comes as a result of the Lightning’s defensive scheme, but it’s tough to expect him to be so passive as a shooter again in this spot. With that in mind, it’s also unlikely that the Canadiens are held to just 19 shots as a team again after averaging 26.3 in the regular season. Even if Caufield doesn’t see much more volume though, he’s still one of the NHL’s most effective finishers with a shooting percentage of 19.8%. Expect him to make some noise here.

Clayton Keller anytime goalscorer (+250)

Out in Vegas, the Mammoth run it back against the Golden Knights after blowing a lead in Game 1. Both sides are surely energized after some scrums late in the opening matchup, so expect plenty of physicality in this one tonight. While Dylan Guenther may get most of the shine, I actually like Logan Cooley as the best bet to score for Utah here. In three regular-season games against Vegas this year, he potted a team-high four goals. He isn’t exactly a high-volume shooter, but he also notched 24 goals in just 54 games during the regular-season slate as well. His shooting percentage? That mark sits at an unreal 23.5%. He put a puck in the back of the net to open this series before getting into a kerfuffle with Nic Dowd, so he’s already off to a hot start. With +220 odds in the anytime goalscorer market, I like the value here on Cooley and would rather take him than Guenther, who comes in at +175.
