Euphoria’s third season continues this on Sunday with its fifth episode. Preview and details below.
Euphoria Season 3 Episode 5 is titled “This Little Piggy,” and it airs Sunday, May 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO, streaming the same night on HBO Max.
Episode 5 comes after “Kitty Likes to Dance,” which pushed Rue’s storyline deeper into crime-thriller territory. Rue was arrested and pressured into becoming a confidential informant, sent back toward Alamo’s operation with fake drugs, and then exposed after questioning Kitty about what looked like trafficking. The episode ended with Laurie’s masked crew robbing the club, Big Eddy getting shot, and Faye accidentally becoming the key giveaway when Magick identified her as the getaway driver.

The Episode 5 preview points straight at Cassie and Maddy’s strange new partnership. Cassie appears to be building her paid online persona into a real income stream, celebrating 50,000 subscribers while Maddy stays close enough to look like part friend, part manager, part witness. That matters after the Nate wedding implosion: Cassie is no longer just chasing his approval, she’s monetizing the wreckage of that fantasy. Maddy, meanwhile, knows better than anyone how ugly Nate’s orbit gets, so her presence gives the storyline a sharper charge. While Rue is trapped in Laurie and Alamo’s criminal pipeline, Cassie is building a different kind of trap—one made out of attention, money, and the thrill of being watched.
The premiere of Euphoria drops on Sunday, May 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with the episode streaming the same night on HBO Max. Episodes will roll out weekly, returning the show to its usual Sunday-night, event-TV slot.
Season 3 has eight episodes total. HBO is sticking with its regular weekly release schedule.
The core cast returns, led by Zendaya as Rue Bennett, alongside Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. Returning ensemble players include Eric Dane and Martha Kelly, with additional cast members like Chloe Cherry and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje rounding out the season.
