After doubling to open the bottom of the first inning in today’s game versus the Diamondbacks, Nico Hoerner appeared to hurt himself running the bases.
Hoener would stay in the game, even scoring a run later in the inning, but in the bottom of the second, the infielder was pinch-hit for by Matt Shaw. Because Hoerner was lifted prior to taking this second plate appearance, he will be eligible for DraftKings Sportsbook’s Early Exit program.
However, as Hoerner was already over two total bases and had scored a run, it’s important to note that bets with selection(s) that were unconditionally determined before the injury (e.g. a player already hit an over target, or achieved a milestone) will not be considered for an Early Exit credit.
