Blake Krass breaks down the opening odds for the FIFA 2026 World Cup Round of 32 match between the Ivory Coast and Norway.
There is another solid matchup set for the Round of 32 in the knockout stage of the 2026 World Cup. Erling Haaland’s Norway will be taking on Côte d’Ivoire.
Norway played its backups against France, basically resigning itself to this position as the second-place finisher in Group I. Meanwhile, Côte d’Ivoire secured a massive three points in its final group stage game over Curaçao to secure second place in Group E. This marks the first time in the Ivory Coast’s history that it has made the knockout stage of the World Cup.
Norway and Côte d’Ivoire will meet on Tuesday, June 30, at 1:00 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Norway is a favorite to win this match against Côte d’Ivoire. Norway is +105 on the Moneyline, while the Ivory Coast is +265 to pull off the upset. If you fancy a draw, it can be found at odds of +250. These odds are for what the score will be after 90 minutes and stoppage time. However, in the knockout stage, there will be extra time and penalty kicks if necessary.
Norway is a -180 favorite to make it to the Round of 16. Côte d’Ivoire is a +145 underdog to advance in the knockout stage. Whover advances from this match will take on the winner of the Brazil vs. Japan match.
