Juan Soto More Than 1.5 Total Bases

The Mets have been the worst team in baseball this season. They are an absolute disaster on almost every level. Juan Soto has been the lone bright spot at the plate for the Mets. Soto is batting .327 with a .967 OPS. That OPS ranks 16th-best in baseball among batters with at least 50 at-bats. He missed some time with an injury, but picked up right where he left off when he returned to the lineup last week. Soto has hit a home run in both games of the series against the Nationals so far, and he has a great chance to keep that going against Miles Mikolas. Mikolas has been one of the worst pitchers in baseball this season. He has an 8.49 ERA this season and hasn’t made it past the fourth inning in any of his past four starts. Once the Washington bullpen comes in, they have a collective 5.01 ERA, the sixth-worst mark in baseball. Soto should be able to keep his hot streak going and register an extra-base hit in this game.

Bobby Witt Jr. More Than 1.5 Total Bases

Bobby Witt Jr. is having another great season, batting .297 with an .806 OPS. Witt is riding a 10-game hitting streak into this series finale with the Athletics. He has hit the ball great in Sacramento, with three hits, three runs scored and three RBIs through two games. Witt should keep that going against Jeffrey Springs. Springs has given up a combined 11 earned runs over his past two starts. Bobby Witt Jr. has also crushed lefties this season. Witt has a 1.207 OPS against left-handed pitching this season, a top-10 mark in the MLB. Witt is also 3/4 with a double in his career against Jeffrey Springs. Bobby Witt Jr. should keep his bat hot and get over this number against Springs and the Athletics.

Freddy Peralta More Than 5.5 Strikeouts Thrown

Freddy Peralta is far from the Mets’ biggest issue at the moment. While he hasn’t been a stone-cold ace like the Mets had hoped, he has been decent. Since his Opening Day start, he has not given up more than three runs in an outing. Peralta has also not seen much of a drop-off in his strikeout numbers, averaging 10.0 K/9. The Nationals rank in the bottom 10 in the MLB in total strikeouts this season. Peralta should be able to keep his strikeout numbers elevated against this lineup. The Nationals have not been nearly as good against right-handed pitching this season. They rank fourth in the MLB in team wRC+ against lefties, but 24th against righties. Peralta should be able to get after this lineup and turn in a good outing. Peralta has thrown at least six strikeouts in four of his six starts this season, and should keep that going today.

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes

Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
