Alex Hunter provides his top golf bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for the 2026 RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto.
The RBC Canadian Open will be played at the North Course (par 70, 7,389 yards, bentgrass/POA mix greens) of TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon, Ontario, for the second straight year. Ryan Fox (-18) won at TPC Toronto last season by defeating Sam Burns in a playoff, which was the first time TPC Toronto has hosted a PGA TOUR event. For this week, there will be 145 golfers competing and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.
Below, I have featured my two favorite bets for the RBC Canadian Open on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Burns is sponsored by RBC and he always gears up for the RBC Canadian Open. In his four starts at this tournament, Burns has finished T-4, MC, T-10 and runner-up. That near-win came at TPC Toronto last season, when Burns lost in a four-hole playoff to Fox.
Burns chased down Fox in the final round, posting an 8-under 62, which was one stroke shy of the tournament low and his career low. Burns has shot under par in 11 of his 14 rounds at the RBC Canadian Open and he ranks third among this field in strokes gained per round at courses in Canada.
Burns should be out for revenge at TPC Toronto this week and he looks ready to claim his first RBC Canadian Open title. The 29-year-old is coming off a T-4 finish at the Memorial last week, marking his third top-10 of the season. Burns carded a 3-under 69 in 3-of-4 rounds at Muirfield Village and he finished just two strokes out of the playoff. Burns gained strokes in every major category, most notably ranking fifth in SG APP and seventh in SGP.
The LSU product did this damage facing a world-class field at Muirfield Village, as the Memorial is one of the PGA TOUR’s eight Signature Events. Burns will be going against a much weaker field at the RBC Canadian Open and his sixth PGA TOUR win is definitely a realistic outcome.
Rai has been excellent. In his last three starts, he has finished fifth at the Myrtle Beach Classic, first at the PGA Championship and T-19 at the Memorial. Rai didn’t just win the PGA Championship, he ran away with a three-stroke victory at the grueling Aronimink GC. Rai has gained strokes across the board in two of these past three starts and he has shot under par in eight of these past 12 rounds.
Rai ranks ninth in total strokes gained when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds and now, he travels north of the border to compete at TPC Toronto for the first time. While Rai has never teed it up at this track before, he has been awesome in Canada throughout his career. In his three starts at the RBC Canadian Open, Rai has finished T-13, T-3 and T-14. Among this field, the two-glove wearing professional ranks fourth in strokes gained per round at courses in Canada.
Rai ranks 19th in SG APP this season and Fox ranked sixth in the metric when he won at TPC Toronto last year. Rai’s accurate driving and strong iron play set him up well for this par 70, and he should tally another high finish in Canada this week.
