Alex Hunter breaks down his favorite WNBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Tuesday’s WNBA matchup between the Fever and Tempo.
The Fever are hosting the Tempo for Tuesday’s one WNBA game. Indiana is favored by 7.5 points and this game carries a total of 179.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for this contest on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Clark has been excellent recently, scoring 32 points vs. the Sky and 25 points vs. the Sun in her last two starts while shooting 51% from the field during this stretch. Clark is averaging a career-high 20.3 PPG and she has finished with 20+ points in 7-of-12 games this season. The guard ranks seventh in the league in usage rate (29.3%) and Clark is in a great spot to stay hot tonight vs. the Tempo.
Toronto ranks 12th in defensive rating and both the Tempo and Fever rank inside the top-three in pace this season. This game presents a high 179.5-point total on DraftKings Sportsbook and Clark should flourish in this fast-paced setting.
Sykes going without a make from deep tonight is far more likely than these +175 odds suggest. The veteran is averaging just 1.1 made trey per game while shooting 26% from beyond the arc and she has failed to hit a three-pointer in 7-of-14 games this season. Sykes hasn’t hit a trey in four of her last six and the Fever aren’t an appealing spot for her to find her rhythm from deep.
Indiana may be a fast club, but the Fever rank fifth in defensive rating and they are giving up the fewest made three-pointers per game this season (6.3). At this juicy +175 price, Sykes is a compelling bet for this under.
Even with both Kiki Rice (ankle) and Nyara Sabally (hamstring) out tonight, this 9.5-point line feels aggressive for Juskaite. This will be the third straight game the Tempo have been without both Rice and Sabally, and Juskaite only provided eight points vs. the Mystics and five points vs. the Dream in the first two.
In these contests, she shot an ugly 30% from the field and she saw a 17.8% usage rate, which is just slightly above her average for the season. Juskaite has stayed under 9.5 points in 9-of-14 games this season and she should come up short of that line again Tuesday.
