One of the original islanders, as well as a prominent bombshell, just got sent home from Love Island UK Season 13. Sam Connon recaps everything that went down at the villa in Episode 21.
Love Island UK Season 13 has lived up to the hype and then some. Boys are acting dumb, bombshells are causing problems, secrets have been spilled and not even the fan-favorites are safe. Find out what happened on Love Island UK as we provide a full recap of the episode that aired in the United States on Monday.
After Mica rejected his offer to go to the Hideaway, Simba pulled Angelista for a chat – the two are still technically coupled up, after all. Although they reiterated that they had a connection in the past, they also agreed that they wouldn’t sleep in the same bed that night.
Lola and Sean watched on and shared a kiss, while Ellie shot Halle and Tommy a dirty look from across the villa. Tommy eventually went over to talk to Ellie and said he didn’t plan on revisiting a potential relationship with Halle, only to immediately take Halle to the daybeds and kiss her. He didn’t waste any time coming clean to Ellie about it, interrupting her chat with Finley to tell her about said kiss. For the second time in only a few nights, Ellie ranted to the girls about Tommy’s stupidity. This time, she marched back out to the firepit to give him a reaming before bed.
Ellie and Tommy shared a chat the next morning and the tension was still there. Simba tried to get some answers out of Mica, who said she was not interested anymore after hearing about his post-rejection chat with Angelista. Meanwhile, Aidan took Tina to the Hideaway, all while Sean was trying to explain to Namibia that Aidan really liked her. In private, Aidan told Tina that he felt more of a connection with her than Namibia and tried to spin that into a kiss. Tina decided turned down his pursuit for the time being. Tina spilled the tea about the kiss attempt soon after, but it was Lorenzo and Yasmin who broke the news to Namibia. Aidan tried to defend himself to Namibia, who made it clear that she wasn’t too happy with his actions.
Finley and Ellie spent some time together, sharing a kiss up on the terrace. Tommy and Halle cracked on too, while Mica tried to get to know Chidi. Tina took Adian up to the terrace, where Namibia, Mica, Jasmine and Angelista were watching from the daybeds below, so the “private” moment didn’t go anywhere.
That’s when Sam got a text that it was time for the islanders to gather around the firepit. As the newest arrivals, Halle, Chidi, Tina and Finley got first picks for who to steal. Halle plucked Tommy from Ellie, who Finley immediately scooped back up. Chidi paired up with Mica and Tina went for Aidan. Namibia got a text that there wouldn’t be a wider recoupling. Since they had been left single, Namibia and Sam got dumped from the Villa.
Before the end of the night, Tommy and Halle kissed on the terrace again. Mica also talked to Samraj about her dynamic with Simba and Chidi, admitting she didn’t feel much with either one. Samraj also said he was getting the ick from Priya, just before she sat down and joined their conversation. Mica and Samraj eventually made their way to the terrace to see if there was still a spark between them from Week 1. Samraj said he didn’t want to ruin their friendship, but didn’t close the door to a reunion either. Priya could see them, meaning they are going to have to explain themselves sooner rather than later.
Not every couple got a chance to hit the reset button on Day 16, but there was a pretty major shakeup. The sleepover bombshells made their choices, throwing off a few dynamics beyond the two islanders who went home. As it stands, here is how the couples look:
Love Island UK Season 13 premiered on Monday, June 1, in the United Kingdom. However, it was not available in the United States until Thursday, June 4. New episodes come out every day at 3 a.m. ET – although some will be Unseen Bits compilation specials or Aftersun talk shows – for eight weeks.
While Love Island UK airs on ITV2 in the United Kingdom, the show is available to stream in the United States on Hulu. Meanwhile, Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
The sleepover bombshells had the chance to steal islanders out of existing couples on Day 16. Namibia and Sam were left single, so they were dumped.
Season 13 of Love Island will include around 50 episodes, with the eight-week season likely set to conclude in late July or early August.
