Ciaran Doyle gives his best bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s Champions League match between Bayern Munich and PSG.
The UEFA Champions League semi-finals continue on Wednesday as PSG will travel to take on Bayern Munich in the second leg.
Bayern Munich are -145 favorites on the moneyline, while a draw is available at +400. Fancy a PSG upset? They are +290 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook.
The first leg of this matchup was an instant classic, with PSG winning 5-4 to leave this semi-final wide open heading into Wednesday’s game in Germany. In terms of odds to advance, both sides are listed at -110.
We were certainly treated to one of the best Champions League knockout games of all time in the first leg. PSG looked to have one foot in the final after leading 5-2, but two goals from Bayern Munich after that leaves this matchup in an intriguing place.
Although it might not be enough to advance, I do like Bayern to win this game in the 90 minutes and cash their moneyline. In six home games throughout their UCL journey so far this season, the German side are perfect, winning all six matches. In five of those games, they won by two clear goals or more. They’ve also been solid at home in the Bundesliga, winning 13 of their 16 games, drawing two and losing only once.
PSG have been more than good on the road in their Champions League campaign, but not perfect. In seven games they have won five, but they have lost once and drawn another. In Ligue 1 they have lost three of their 15 games, drawing another two. The French side are obviously still one of the best in the world on the road, but I would argue that Bayern’s home advantage gives them the edge in this second leg.
PSG last visited the Allianz Arena in 2024 and 2023, losing both times. Expect another entertaining game filled with goals, but Bayern Munich to get the win. Whether or not that will be good enough to get them to the final remains to be seen.
