It’s Saturday, which means every team across Major League Baseball will take the field. For those looking to cash in quickly on a bet, nothing makes more sense than an NRFI. With that being said, there’s more to this one than meets the eye. Some pitchers thrive early, while others take more time to get settled in than others. Which NRFI picks are worth a closer look this evening?

Ahead of Saturday’s MLB contests, here are two NRFI bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Twins vs. Rays NRFI (-120)

Minnesota, on a three-game losing streak, will attempt to stop its recent slide this afternoon with Bailey Ober. The 30-year-old righty has been a stabilizing force in this rotation for a while now, having been with the franchise since 2021. Over five starts this season, he’s notched a 4.15 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 24 strikeouts. Since 2025, Ober owns a stellar 3.09 first inning ERA as well. In addition, he’s posted a 75% NRFI rate during that time. In comparison, Tampa Bay is scoring baseball’s 13th-fewest runs per game at home (4.40).

On the other side, the Rays will hand the ball to ace Shane McClanahan. The former Cy Young winner, now fully healthy, hasn’t looked like his old self. Through 18.0 innings of work, the southpaw owns a mediocre 5.0 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. With that being said, the odds are in the two-time All-Star’s favor on Saturday. For starters, he’ll be pitching at Tropicana Park; he has a career 85% NRFI rate at the venue. To make things more enticing, Minnesota hitters have produced the league’s sixth-worst YRFI rate on the road (15.38%). Recent numbers aside, McClanahan is always a solid bet against a mediocre lineup.

Pirates vs. Brewers NRFI (-135)

In this NL Central showdown, Pittsburgh will send out one of their best arms in Mitch Keller. The veteran isn’t elite by any means, but he’s one of the sport’s more consistent hurlers. That’s continued into 2026; the right-hander has posted a 2.79 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 19 strikeouts through 29.0 frames. The 30-year-old now faces a familiar foe this evening in Milwaukee. A typically strong Brewers offense is currently without Jackson Chourio (hand) and Christian Yelich (groin). Unsurprisingly, the team ranks 21st in baseball with an average of 4.4 runs over their last ten games. Milwaukee’s offense also owns MLB’s tenth-worst YRFI rate at home (23.08%).

In the top half of the inning, it’ll be Jacob Misiorowski toeing the slab. The second-year pro is nothing short of electric on the mound. Over five starts in 2026, the 24-year-old has produced a 3.04 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and a whopping 42 strikeouts. Today’s contest may not be a walk in the park; Pittsburgh’s lineup has been much improved this season. Regardless, this is a spot that Miz has dominated in before. He allowed only one earned run over 12.0 innings against the Pirates last season (0.75 ERA). It’s also worth mentioning that he’s a much better pitcher at home (career 3.23 ERA) than on the road (4.99 ERA). Milwaukee’s budding ace is someone I’m targeting tonight.
