Arnold Allen is looking to get back in the column against rising contender, Melquizael Costa, in the Main Event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night. This event is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Meta Apex. This week’s UFC Fight Night Main Card starts at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Melquizael Costa Moneyline (+102)

Melquizael Costa is ranked No. 12 at 145 pounds and has won six straight fights over the last 23 months. Costa last beat Dan Ige via first-round knockout in February. Meanwhile, Arnold Allen is 1-3 in his previous four contests and hasn’t won a fight since June 2024.

When Allen is confident and has a high volume, he is a good fighter, but he has been very passive in his last few fights. Costa is taller (5’10” vs. 5’8″) and has a reach advantage (71″ vs. 70″), which should allow him to succeed in this contest.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Costa is a +102 underdog while Allen is the favorite at -122. Costa averages more significant strikes per minute and more takedowns per 15 minutes. I think Costa’s pace and versatility will be too much for Allen to keep up with in this fight.

Malcolm Wellmaker to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+100)

From June 2022 to June 2025, Malcolm Wellmaker began his professional MMA career 10-0 with eight finishes and looked unbeatable. That changed at UFC 322 in November 2025 when we saw Ethyn Ewing defeat Wellmaker by unanimous decision. Even though Wellmaker had an off night and a disappointing performance, he is still supremely talented and has an opportunity on Saturday to get back on track.

Wellmaker is taking on Juan Diaz, who is 15-1-1 and is currently on an eight-fight winning streak. This is Diaz’s first UFC fight after earning a contract in October 2025 on Dana White’s Contender Series. In his UFC career so far, Wellmaker has landed 5.80 significant strikes per minute at a 56 percent rate.

Wellmaker is a -258 favorite with Diaz being a +210 underdog in this contest on DraftKings Sportsbook. Since Wellmaker is coming off a loss, he knows a more aggressive performance is needed to get a different result from his last fight. Eight of his 10 victories have come by finish, and his last four wins have been by knockout. With that said, I’m taking Wellmaker at +100 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission.
