A new season of From is underway! Here’s everything you need to know going into the fifth episode of Season 4.
It feels like things are about to come to a head as we approach the midway point of From Season 4. Lots of table-setting in episode 4, which could mean we’re due for a wild one this week.
More on all of that in a bit. Here are the timing details you need ahead of episode 5.
When does From Season 4 Episode 5 come out?
Season 4 Episode 5 will premiere on MGM+ on Sunday, May 17. The episode is titled What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been. Like the first four episodes of Season 5, this should have a run time between 45 and 60 minutes.

Everything You Need to Know Before From Episode 5 Season 4
After a slower episode 3, episode 4 answered some questions and laid some foundation ahead of episode 5 — the fourth season’s midway point.
Here’s a look at some of the key developments from the last episode of From:
Julie — Season 4 has been Julie’s best by far. Her and Randall have developed into a great pairing. Almost opposite of her mother’s course of action, Julie is doing everything she can to learn about her capabilities — despite consistently running into terrifying consequences when doing so. Her latest trip led to an encounter with the Man in the Yellow Suit in his old (true?). Left shaken, Julie caught a glimpse of what this villain did to the town when Victor was younger. She still doesn’t have a grasp on her abilities, and they continue to scare her, but we already know that she is not going to give up.
Sara — A happy ending was never in the cards for Sara, and it feels as though last episode removed any shred of doubt about that. She’s been doing her best to be less of a problem for the town, yet she once again finds herself in an impossible position. These events also provided some clarity as to why Sophia (/Man in the Yellow Suit) wanted to live with Sara.
Donna — Feels like she just signed her own death warrant. Donna was never going to survive this whole ordeal — she carries too much responsibility and guilt. But after her comments to Tabitha in episode 4, it feels as though her end could come this season — if not next episode.
Fatima — Is she in her right mind? Maybe not. But is anyone else at this point? For that matter, how many people who’ve had a traumatic experience on the same level as Fatima have handled it as healthily as her in the direct wake of said experience? Honestly, probably no one. Here’s hoping the golem proves to be more than symbolic!
Boyd — Trying to figure some things out while watching over Jade, who is taking unconventional steps toward unlocking past-life memories. But Boyd is going through his own set of hallucinations, which are the result of Acosta reminding him of his late wife.
Victor — He’s brought his dad up to speed on the Man in the Yellow Suit. Between Victor and Julie, it feels like there’s a chance they actually sniff out Sophia before too many townsfolk fall as part of this nefarious plan.
Tabitha — Kind of listening to Ethan for once. Based on the final moments of the episode, which were at the body of water by the settlement (believed to be the Lake of Tears), it seems Tabitha’s decision to respect the weird stuff that happens in this world will pay off for her again. (She should try to do this more!)
And here’s the (ominous) synopsis for this week’s episode of From, per IMDb: A frantic search for answers drives Boyd and Jade into uncharted territory as a simple food delivery transforms into a nightmare scenario at the settlement.
