Ryan Wohl details his best bet for Saturday’s WBC Bantamweight title bout between Takuma Inoue vs. Kazuto Ioka.
Saturday’s highly anticipated boxing event at the Tokyo Dome features a WBC Bantamweight Championship fight between Takuma Inoue and Kazuto Ioka. Takuma’s brother, Naoya, is facing Junto Nakatani in the Main Event of this card. Inoue’s record stands at 21-2 with five knockouts, while his opponent, Ioka, is currently 324-4- 1 with 17 wins by knockout. This card begins at 3:00 a.m. ET on DAZN.
Check out my best bet for Takuma Inoue vs. Kazuto Ioka below.
After losing to Seiya Tsutsumi in October 2024, Inoue bounced back and beat Tenshin Nasukawa in his last bout to capture the WBC Bantamweight Championship. Inoue is 8-1 in his previous nine fights, and this will be his second contest at the Tokyo Dome.
Ioka knocked out Maikel Ordosgoitti in his last fight in December 2025. He is a former WBO Super Flyweight Champion and held the title from 2019 to 2022. In this matchup, both fighters are the same height (5’4.5″) with the same standing reach (64.5″).
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Inoue is a -265 favorite with Ioka being the underdog at +205 in this contest. I favor Inoue in this contest because he is seven years younger and seems to have more momentum heading into it. Ioka has the power advantage in this fight, but Inoue should be able to limit that with his impressive defense. I’m taking Takuma Inoue to win by decision or technical decision at -135 since five of his last seven wins have come on the judges’ scorecards.
