UPDATE: Wembanyama suffered a concussion. He will undergo more testing on Wednesday.
Per NBA guidelines, Wembanyama must now have at least 48 hours of inactivity and recovery, then hit several benchmarks while being symptom-free before he is cleared to play. He'll then require clearance from a team doctor in consultation with a league protocol director. https://t.co/9Szz0FIu6s

Victor Wembanyama suffered an injury after a hard fall in the second quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers. He went to the locker room immediately after the spill and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Wembanyama hit his face on the floor and is now in the concussion protocol. The 2025-26 Defensive Player of the Year and MVP finalist is an essential piece to San Antonio’s championship roster.
Wembanyama had five points, four rebounds, one assist and one block in 12 minutes.
