Holmes finished out the inning and started the fifth inning, but was eventually replaced after getting one out. After the game, Carlos Mendoza announced that Holmes fractured his fibula on the Jones comebacker and will be out for a while.

Prior to exiting, Holmes walked two, struck out eight and allowed four earned runs on seven hits in 4.1 innings.

Since Holmes faced at least five batters during the game, he will not be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
