Cooper Albers previews Salahdine Parnasse vs. Kenneth Cross at Netflix’s MVP MMA event.
European lightweight star Salahdine Parnasse looks to establish himself on the global stage Saturday night, taking on former Bellator and Dana White’s Contender Series veteran Kenneth Cross on Netflix’s first-ever MMA event at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
Parnasse (22–2) is a two-division champion in KSW and enters on a four-fight win streak — all by knockout. Cross (17–4) has also won four straight and recently captured gold in Tuff-N-Uff.
Parnasse enters as an overwhelming -1350 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Cross sits as a +800 underdog. The total is set at O/U 1.5 rounds.
Salahdine Parnasse didn’t need a UFC contract to burst into stardom. In fact, he famously spurned multiple offers from the promotion to remain a top-paid standout in Europe.
The French-Moroccan lightweight, 28, is a two-division champion in KSW, one of the continent’s foremost MMA organizations. He’s a smooth, calculated southpaw who wields elite striking, strong grappling, and a lethal submission game. Fourteen of his 22 professional wins have come inside the distance, including seven knockouts and seven submissions.
Fresh off a second-round stoppage of UFC and Bellator vet Marcin Held in January, Parnasse heads into Saturday night looking to seize the global spotlight in his professional debut on American soil.

If Parnasse wants to prove himself on a global stage, he’ll have to go through “The Boss.”
Kenneth Cross is an accomplished prospect in his own right, with a wealth of professional experience featuring stops on Dana White’s Contender Series and Bellator. He also trains at Syndicate MMA with one Merab Dvalishvili.
Cross, 31, is an aggressive stoppage artist with eight knockouts and five submission victories under his belt. Before beating Tsogookhuu Amarsanaa for the Tuff-N-Uff title last October, he sparked XFC’s Lucas Corbage in just 14 seconds. The American will now look to play spoiler against one of Europe’s most promising talents.
Parnasse has a golden opportunity to make a statement in his USA debut. Equipped with lightning speed and surgical precision, expect him to showcase his clear striking advantage from the opening bell. He should also neutralize any attempts from Cross to take the fight to the ground.
Europe’s brightest lightweight star has recorded four straight knockouts; expect him to keep adding to his highlight reel on Netflix.
