The NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen is on Sunday, and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen.
The pole sitter led 38 laps from the front row last August. The line is asking him to do 10 better than that. Sonoma in June of 2025 produced 97 laps led. The ROVAL produced 57. Mexico produced 60. The Trackhouse road course program in 2025 turned every front-row start into a domination clinic. The 2026 version of van Gisbergen has only gotten faster. Practice was the lightest of any front-row driver, the classic Trackhouse signal that the race car is ready to go. The field behind him does not have a single driver with a road course program built to challenge for stage points and the lead simultaneously. Take the over and watch him control the race from the front.
Two career Glen wins exist on his resume, but both came in the Gen 6 car. The Gen 7 record at this track reads three straight finishes of 32nd, 19th and 26th. That resume is not landing anyone a job. Elliott did not demonstrate elite speed in practice or qualifying. His 27th-place starting position is tough. Drivers starting 25th or worse at Watkins Glen in the Gen 7 era have hit the top-10 exactly five percent of the time. The line of 10.5 is paying for the road course reputation rather than the actual recent form. Saturday’s practice did nothing to change the picture. The most likely outcome is a finish between 15th and 22nd, well outside the line.
The 2024 Watkins Glen finish of third from 29th is the only road course top 15 of his Cup career. Excluding the exceptional Glen finish, Hocevar has an average finish of 24.4 across 11 Gen 7 road course races. Last year at this track, he started eighth and finished 18th. His practice clean lap average ranked 14th, decent but not enough to override his track-type history. The 11th-place start sets a high bar that the long-run pace and the recent road course form do not support. The line is paying for one outlier outcome and momentum. Ignore the 2026 hype. Fading the new face of NASCAR worked at Texas. It will work again at The Glen.

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your “Pick Set”) of 2+ players and select whether you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.
Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
